Things have been pretty quiet here on the Bluevibe studio blog for the last month, mostly due to the fact that I’ve completed the project management for the new Creative People’s Centre website. This is a project I took on about 6 months ago as project manager and with the help of the amazing Catch design and the staff at The Depot Artspace we’ve just launched the first stage of the site.
The Creative People’s Centre is both a community and web based service for people involved in the arts and creative industries. On the CPC website you will find articles focusing on arts related topics; information about the latest CPC events plus legal factsheets which provide a detailed insight into a specific legal issues encountered in the creative industries.
My role is going to be website manager and editor for all the music related content which will include weekly articles focusing on information to help musicians with their creative and professional development. I’ll be writing some simple guides to music distribution, recording, promotion etc all with New Zealand artists in mind.
Take a look at the site and let me know what you think, we’re hoping to turn it in to a really useful resource and I’d appreciate any feedback and suggestions on the type of articles you’d like to see on the site.
Now that thing’s have calmed down with the CPC project I can finally get back to mixing the new Jellphonic EP and finishing the next Ghostfaders release, nice.
